Breif
Finding out how much you can borrow is often the first real step toward buying a home, yet most home loan calculators feel cold, technical and full of jargon. Klirra is a concept for a mobile calculator that makes that first step feel approachable. The brief was to design a flow that collects what a lender needs to know, such as household, income, housing, existing loans and savings, without it ever feeling like filling in a form.
Deliverables
A complete mobile flow in seven screens, from start screen to final estimate, with the monthly cost broken down into interest, amortisation and fees. The work included a visual identity built on a bold wordmark, a soft gradient palette and a system of tactile bubble buttons, as well as a prototype where the selected bubble expands to fill the screen and becomes the next step.
RESULT
The result is a calculator that feels closer to a conversation than a form. One question per screen, clear progress and short explanations behind the numbers make the process easy to follow, while colour and motion give the concept a warm and recognisable personality. Klirra shows how a financial tool can feel both trustworthy and playful.
